Dr. Liu joined BeiGene in 2017 and is the Vice President of Research and Head of Biology.

Prior to joining BeiGene, Dr. Liu worked for more than 20 years at Incyte and Abbott Laboratories in roles of increasing responsibility.  During this period, he initiated and led a variety of programs, with a focus on oncology drug discovery.

Dr. Liu received his B.S. in 1990 and M.S. in 1993 from Beijing Normal University, and finished his Ph.D. training with Dr. Xiaodong Wang from Emory University in 1997.
